Informify360 Preferred Contractor · roofing, siding, windows, gutters, storm restoration

The homeowner already has the guides. Be the contractor who hands them over.

One folder of sixteen pages with your name on them, the same pages the homeowner can check against the free guides on this site. Your rep hands the right page at the right moment. You sign the published standards and stay current on them.

Preferred means the contractor signed the Informify360 standard and stays current on it. It is not a warranty of their work.

What the homeowner already has

Eight free guides, the 17-line scope list, and a free line-by-line reading of every bid on the table, including yours.

A Preferred Contractor welcomes that reading. An estimate that states things plainly reads well, and the homeowner can see it. That is the whole pitch.

Why this is there for you

Not extra layers. Nothing missed.

The homeowner pages exist for the same reason these pages exist for you: communication and documentation. Most problems on a job are not workmanship. They are something nobody said, or nobody wrote down. The folder does not add steps to how you sell. It makes sure nothing slips through.

  1. 1

    Nothing gets missed

Checklists like the Trade Gap catch what one estimate covers and another does not, before it turns into a surprise.

  2. 2

    Communication stays clear

The homeowner knows what was found, what is included, and what happens next, in writing.

  3. 3

    Fewer problems

No arguing over what was promised. The paper already says it.

  4. 4

    More referrals

A customer with no surprises is a happy customer, and happy customers send their neighbors.

Where the folder does its work

Three moments at the table, and the one that gets the deal back

Your rep does not pitch the folder. They open it at the right moment and hand over one page.

  1. 1

    First visit

    The homeowner holds the pen

Your rep opens the folder and hands the homeowner the Ask Us These page early, then the Proof Sheet before giving a number: one column, your company only. The homeowner checks it in their own handwriting while you show the paper behind each box, and keeps it.

  2. 2

    When there are other estimates

    Comparison in the meeting

Your rep asks whether the homeowner has other estimates, professionally, and offers to lay them side by side. Our column and theirs, line by line. Nothing bad is said about the other company. The lines that are not stated speak for themselves.

  3. 3

    After signing

One page at each step of the job

The Payment Schedule goes home with the contract. Before the crew starts, the Photo Checkpoint Log and who to call. During the job, the Change Order Log. At the walkthrough, the Close-Out Checklist and the Warranty Registry. Each page goes out once, from your company, when it is used.

  4. No close today

    No close today

    One text

The homeowner already has the Proof Sheet they checked and their Ask Us These page. The next day, one text. Then quiet for a week.

The published standards

Eight things every Preferred Contractor signs

Preferred means the contractor signed the Informify360 standard and stays current on it. It is not a warranty of their work. The standards are published so homeowners can hold every Preferred Contractor to them, including the founder's own company. A homeowner can raise a problem through Informify360, and the contractor answers within two business days. If it is not made right, or it keeps happening, the contractor is removed from the directory.

  1. 1

    Licensed and registered

Licensed and registered in the state where they work.

  2. 2

    Fully insured

General liability insurance, plus workers' compensation where the state requires it. Certificates on request.

  3. 3

    Everything in writing

The contract and every change order, in writing, before the work changes.

  4. 4

    Call-backs and updates on time

The contractor sets a call-back time and an update schedule, puts them in writing, and keeps them.

  5. 5

    Photos of the work

Photos of the work, available to the homeowner on request.

  6. 6

    Walkthrough and warranty

A final walkthrough with the homeowner, with the warranties registered.

  7. 7

Lien waivers on completion and full payment

Lien waivers on completion and full payment, from the contractor and from every sub and supplier. Nothing chased on progress payments.

  8. 8

    No insurance coverage advice

The contractor does not interpret the policy or adjust the claim. Coverage questions go to the insurer, the agent, or a licensed public adjuster.

Your process, our paper

You do not change how you sell.

You do not change how you sell. The start fee includes arranging the folder to your sales system: the order your reps work in, the moment each page comes out, your estimate layout in the Informify360 scope order. Changes beyond that, like a page rewritten for a process of your own, are quoted separately.

One start fee, then a plan billed yearly. Unlimited logins on every plan. No territory, no royalty.

How a contractor starts

Four steps. No travel.

  1. 1

    Owner walkthrough, on video

Jason walks the owner through the folder and the three moments on a recorded call. About an hour. No travel either way.

  2. 2

    Sign the standard

The standards, signed by the owner. They are public, and homeowners can hold you to them.

  3. 3

The folder, with your name on it

Sixteen pages carrying your company name and license number, arranged to your sales system, delivered as print-ready files.

  4. 4

    Recordings for your reps

Short recordings, one per page, on when it comes out and what to say. New reps watch them on day one.

Inside Bench

Inside Bench, when it is available: Jay hands your rep the right page at the right stage.

Bench is the sales and job platform some contractors run their business on. When the Informify360 folder is live inside it, Jay, the Informify360 helper in Bench, watches the stage a deal is in and puts the matching page in front of your rep: Ask Us These and the Proof Sheet at the first visit, the comparison sheet when there is another estimate, the right page at each step after signing, a follow-up reminder on a no-close day. Nothing changes about the folder. It just shows up on its own.

  • First visit: the Proof Sheet
  • Other estimates: side by side
  • After signing: one page at each step of the job
  • No close today: one text tomorrow

Why we built this

The same pages win the table.

"I spent 25 years on the contractor side of the kitchen table. I wrote the homeowner guides because the people who understood the process before it started were the ones who did well, and almost nobody was teaching it. Then I noticed something: the same pages that protect the homeowner win the table when the contractor is the one who hands them over. Nothing sells honesty like showing your work. That is what this program is."
Jason Vogen, founder

Straight answers

What contractors ask first

Including the two that matter most to homeowners: what you see of their free comparison (nothing), and whether this is a franchise (no).

Informify360 is owned by Jason Vogen, who also owns Xteriors360, a licensed contractor. Informify360 Preferred Contractors are selected for their commitment to written standards for quality, process and communication. Membership carries a fee and never buys a ranking or a recommendation.

Is this a franchise?

No. It is a one-time start fee, a plan billed yearly, and a license to use the folder with your own name on it. There is no territory and no royalty.

Is there a monthly plan?

Plans are priced by the month and billed once a year. A month-to-month option, with a three-month minimum, is coming.

What do I actually hand the homeowner?

Sixteen one-page handouts built from the guides, with your name and license on them, in three tabs: every job, insurance jobs only, and when needed. The homeowner can check every one of them against the free guides on this site.

What do I get from the free comparison homeowners run?

Nothing, and that is the point. The free comparison belongs to the homeowner. You will never receive anyone's files, prices, or a list of what another company left out. If a homeowner asks you to get in touch, you receive their name, email, town, and project type. Contacting a homeowner who did not ask is grounds for losing the listing.

Do I have to change my sales process?

No. The start fee includes arranging the folder to the way you already sell. Pages rewritten for a process of your own are quoted separately.

Do you come out to train us?

No travel either way. The owner walkthrough is a recorded video call, and each page has a short recording for your reps.

What happens if I do not renew?

When the year you paid for ends, the co-branded pages may no longer be handed out, the line comes off your estimates, and your directory listing comes down. The pages you already gave to homeowners stay with them; that was the point.

Can a homeowner report me?

Yes, and we look into every one. You answer within two business days; if it is not made right, or it keeps happening, you come off the directory. The standards are public so homeowners can hold every member to them, including the founder's own company.

Who owns Informify360?

Jason Vogen, a licensed contractor with 25 years in roofing, siding, windows and storm restoration, who also owns Xteriors360. Members are selected for their commitment to written standards for quality, process and communication. Membership carries a fee and never buys a ranking or a recommendation, and his own company is held to the same standards as every member.

Tell us who you are. Jason reads every one.

Applications are reviewed by hand. If you are a licensed contractor who already works the way the standards describe, this takes two minutes. No payment is taken here; we follow up by email to schedule the owner walkthrough.
